Okay, so I was thinking about changing and adding things to my characters' profiles as time goes on, but I want to do something like a status update for them (as stories and events happen that effect them, they would get a status update so you can see the latest news about them). The problem though is if the process of doing it is okay. I don't want to make the walls of text that the original posts are any bigger, and it seems weird and possibly against the rules to reply to my own thread. So how would I go about this?
Could Character Status Update Threads also be a suggestion?

I don't have an issue with it as a way of keeping it organized. And we don't have a rule against post boosting. If you feel it should be an edit do edit. If you feel it needs its own post then post it as a separate post.
I personally have been doing just this with my CCSS thread with major sections getting its own post while smaller updates simply being added to the relevant post. The edits are mostly going into the glossary section as that is where I'm collecting all the weird small things that come to mind.
I feel its find if you want a single post to collect updates for your characters.
