I'm completely out of ideas for short little stories. So I'm taking suggestions and requests. What has happened in this world? What do you want to see? Who do you want to hear written about? I'll post what ideas I come up with but don't write about in this tread too, to perhaps help the other writers with their ideas.

Okay, here comes the list of lists then. - A short series of vignettes from the point of view of some diner patrons. Making comments about recent events and commenting on the people showing up and what they do. While what they were saying all makes it seem lighthearted and fun (imagine the two old men from the muppets.) Eventually it ends with the diner/cafe being blown up/ robbed/ raided due to some underground or nefarious thing that they really should have probably seen coming. Bonus points if its not obvious what is going on until the second read through - A police report from the last week or so from one officer. - Make your own "Cursed Family" character. Give them some type of grand power or ability. Maybe even a mundane one. But in the end, have this one thing be what kills them or causes them to fail the one goal they had at the beginning of the story. - A family in the lower level districts of London (the area that I am working on with all the water and rain). Their trials, tribulations, and challenges that they have to face on a daily basis. Being surrounded by gangs and other rather bad people. Do the parents let their kids join a gang? It will be safer, but who would they be then? Maybe the parents have to do some not-quite-legal things themselves in order to survive. Then throw them a massive curveball. Hole in their wall, electricity is out, flooded level, or something else. How would they deal with it? Obviously most of these wouldn't quite fit the short story as you made your last one. But they are something to go off of nonetheless. Oh! One last question for you actually. The Leaky District. Where was that? What town? I wouldn't mind having that somewhere in the London I am designing as it fits thematically and tonally. I can understand if you had some other plans for it though ^^

I made The Leaky District pretty open to be built upon. It can be anywhere someone wants to write it in. Can in be in the new london? Sure, of course it can!
