Name: Walter
Age: 24
Sex: Male
Accolade: Butcher
Species: Human (*Vampire disease)
Description: A tall, slender humanoid with an angelic feel about him. He wears a collection of dapper attire mixed with the glowing neon of cyberpunk. He prefers to have formal attire over the casual slums below him. Walter’s hair is a silver white and his skin extremely pale. His eyes are a red amber. (Albinism) Walter always has half closed eyes and a light smile across his lips, given this can be considered handsome or entirely creepy. During night time hours, he is a predator. He wears a bull based gasmask with a single broken horn and another full length one. He carries a dull metal handle that extends forward a mere four and a half inches, and has a circle cut through making a hole. A simple press of a button and this dull metal weapon turns into a flashing blue butcher’s knife. Walter still wears his normal dapper suit of black and bright blue. It flashes with coding when hit. (It bears a sturdy armor type of endurance after being hit, as if it exactly knows that physical trauma is eminent.)
Personality: High and arrogant. Extremely smooth and calm. Walter may act completely nice, but he’s probably just sizing you up like a butcher would meat. Walter acts nice and “floaty”, drifting easily between crowds and socializing with almost anyone. Flirting, even.
Biography: Walter suffers from a strain of virus that has utterly changed his diet from omnivorous to carnivorous. Given this, he rarely gives a thought to actually being buddies or some girl’s lucky man, because those people are simply food for him. He stays nearly invisible within the social radar, save for the pubs or bars he often is found lurking in (intoxicated humans are easier to kill than those with energy and the ability to run fast). Walter is more known within the drunk community or gang community than the others, because it’s so easy to see this man and not see the striking albinism.
Walter grew up rather poorly and with a loathing for any species aside from human. He doesn't mention outright but he did one day come down with a terrible sickness that lasted a week when he was younger. It could be linked to the virus that later became volatile to change him. Walter seems to deny that the virus did that, shrugs off the incident as the flu or a bacteria.
Walter reached riches upon becoming the monster he is now. The butchering and killing of animals and humans alike sells great. Walter aids himself and others simply by having black market deals and murders using his condition as excuse and demand enough, easily slipping away from consequence.
He treats every murder like the killing of a farmyard livestock. Stunning the victim before draining the blood and preparing for butchering of the meats. Walter does not find it strange because he recognizes humans and those anthropomorphic citizens as animals, thus his business is, in some state, just fine.
Suffers from Vampire Disease: The vampirism found in Walter has a strange case. He is not like our “fantasy” vampires at all. Walter can be in the sunlight, but him being pale it just doesn’t work for long hours. Walter has nothing against holy water or consecrated items/grounds, he is not religious either way.
A strange virus similar to the one that causes alligators to act like “zombies” is precisely the kind that has changed Walter. The virus lays dormant in the blood for the longest time before it causes the host to turn away from cooked foods and all plant based foods. Generally, this can kill its host because humans won’t believe they’re going to kill themselves by ingesting an omnivorous diet. The virus forces a drastic change within its host’s diet, changing it to only raw or lightly cooked meats or blood. This change makes rapid adaptation of sharper teeth to better tear meat (as when it is raw it is hard to chew). The transformation takes years, sometimes shorter if the virus becomes radical (this may kill the host suddenly without warning).
Ignorance for this drastic change that laid dormant for years leads to a painful and drawn out death. Denying the needs of the new body slowly kills it. Ingesting cooked foods causing the host to wretch and vomit, sometimes vomiting up blood (a tactic that forces the host to feed on live creatures, this doesn’t always work, as the newest of this new subrace of human often is too sick to notice).
Due to the weakness of most humans’ minds, many cannot survive as this strain of “vampires” and usually starve. If one has the intent to kill, they simply survive to be rather dangerous. Kill to eat in a forsaken society.
